Dates for your diary-Reception 2019 intake.

Please note further information about these events will be shared with families once an offer of a place has been made and accepted. Once you have an offer of a place from the Local Authority you should contact school promptly to accept or to decline and to sign up for before/after school provision if you require it. We may not have enough places to meet demand so prompt action is required!

Stay and Play

These are voluntary drop-in sessions (you may not wish to stay for the full session) where parents, or other family members bring the child and stay with them. They are for the child to get an initial "taste" of what school is. Most children attend one but you may sign up for more if you wish. Some local Nurseries like to bring groups of children and they are very welcome!

Thursday 16th May-1.45-3pm

Tuesday 21st May -9.30-11am

Thursday 6th June-9.30-11am

Tuesday 18th June- 1.45-3pm

PLEASE NOTE A CHANGE IN DATE FROM THE ORIGINAL LIST-there is now no session on 7/5/19

Induction Meeting

This is a very important meeting as your child will meet their new teacher and some of their classmates. It is also the time when much information is shared with parents. We hope that every child will attend. You will be allocated to the morning or afternoon slot. Please try to come at the allocated time but contact us early if this is tricky for you as we may be able to swap a few if we know in good time.

Meetings are on Wednesday 3rd July- you will be asked to come either from 9.30am until 11am or from 1.45-3.15pm

September Arrangements for 2019

Our Reception children start in three groups with 10 per class in  each group. We will not be able to tell you which group your child is in until all places are accepted in the summer. However we give priority (Group A) to the youngest children and those who do not have siblings in school so you can sometimes work out which group your child is likely to be in but don't make any real assumptions until you have it in writing!

Group A -start on September 9th

Group B -start on September 11th

Group C-start on September 13th

Children will be part-time until Thursday 19th September and we will hold parents Information meetings about reading on Friday 20th

Thank you to all the parents who attended our Open Morning Meetings. Please see the powerpoint presentation used below, and the parental preference form for which site is preferred for September 2019.
