Harborne Primary School Virtual Parents' Evenings, Autumn Term

Harborne Primary School Virtual Parents’ Evenings: 4:00 – 6:00pm, Tuesday 5th October or Thursday 7th October

Families are invited to attend our virtual Parents’ Evening on Tuesday 5th October or Thursday 7th October. This is an important meeting with your child’s teacher and provides you with an opportunity to discuss how well your child is settling into their new class. We anticipate that the majority of meetings will be carried out by video link.

The school has introduced a new, easy to use online appointment booking system. This allows families to choose their own video appointment times with teachers and receive confirmation by email.

Appointments can be made from Thursday, 23rd September and will close on Friday, 1st October. Should families wish to make any changes after this date please contact your child's classteacher.

Families should visit https://harborneprimary.schoolcloud.co.uk to book appointments. (A short guide on how to add appointments is available and will be sent home. There is also a brief video here).

Families should login with the following information: title, first name and surname and the email address that the system should use to inform you of your appointments. Then,

  • Student’s First Name
  • Student’s Surname
  • Student’s Class

These details need to match the data held centrally by the school.

Before your meeting is scheduled to take place, families should log back into: https://harborneprimary.schoolcloud.co.uk and click on Join Video Appointments. Families will then have the opportunity to check camera and microphone access, before proceeding to the video call with the teacher. Each meeting will then last seven minutes before the teacher moves on to the next video call.

If you do not have access to the internet, please send a letter to your child’s classteacher who will arrange a telephone conversation instead.

Yours sincerely,

Duncan Wilson
Deputy Head
